Be Aware! If you receive a text claiming to be from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) about unpaid tolls or the suspension of your vehicle registration, it's a scam! The DMV will never send texts asking for payments or personal details. Block the sender, never click on the links in the text, and stay safe!

SCAM ALERT: Lake County Clerk warns residents of jury duty payment scam

The Lake County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller’s Office is warning residents of fraudulent calls being made that claim payment must be made to avoid being arrested for missed jury duty. Learn more.

NOTICE: Under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to public records requests, do not send electronic mail to the Clerk’s Office; instead, contact this office by phone or in writing.
